There is no excellent finish with a poor beginning. The prepress studio is the quietest and the least spectacular stage of the long printing process. But it is the place, which significantly influences the quality of labels, packaging and leaflets that will next be printed. To make it really perfect and to save our customers’ time we have equipped our studio with all the necessary, very modern devices and entrusted them to the care of our specialists. This is the place where we scrupulously process materials delivered by our customers and prepare offset matrixes using CTP technology

Imposition, also called electronic editing, of PDF or PS files enables significant time reduction of order execution if the work is prepared basing on the following conditions:

I. Please supply Artwork in PDF format 1.4 Press /composite or separated/, PS /composite or separated or CS4 /AI, EPS, INDD/, CDR.

II. Artwork must include:

  1. Cut line, bending line, folding line,
  2. Min. 3 mm slope of all sides – in case of folders and brochures min. 5mm slope,
  3. Fonts must be converted to curves,
  4. CMYK bitmaps+ alternately PSM colours/psd or tiff with layers/, preferably with links to artwork /300-320 dpi – for CMYK, 1200 dpi – for GRAY)
  5. Overprint and trapping /0.1 mm/,
  6. Artwork centred on the page with the symmetrical bleed,
  7. Any hot stamping, embossing, UV/ must be described with vectors, on the separate layer as the separate spot colour,
  8. In case of text not converted to curves please supply fonts used in the artwork, for Mac / compressed file – e.g. ZIP/,
  9. If the project includes a cutting die, must be saved with the additional spot colour along with “overprint” attribute

 

Please note that in case of separated artworks, changes and modifications are not possible.

III. Cutting die shall be supplied in vector format, scale 1:1 with extension: DXF, CFF, CF2, IPD, optionally AI, PDF.

In this job they are assisted by reliable and powerful MacIntosh computers Our studio besides digital image processing for connoisseurs of photographic art can also prepare photographs and slides in hi end technology using a Crosfield drum scanner.
Colour Management is a very important element in printing processes and is responsible for fidelity and quality of colours. Sample and imposition prints are digitally manufactured with Epson and HP plotters.
Quality control in every stage of manufacturing is carried out according to the strict procedures of ISO 9001:2000. It includes also slides verification. Plates developing finishes the process of laser technology of offset matrix manufacture. Digital processing and laser treated matrix with CTP technology and omission of slides parameter adherence to print the highest quality materials.
